PANCAKE DAY 2010
 The
annual pancake toss and coffee corning took place in the Church Hall,
about 30 people attended. As it was a lovely sunny day we went outside
for the pancake toss, this year there was an adult class, and as it was
half term, a children’s class as well. 10 adults and 8 children took
part.
After some fierce
competition Ellie Harwood won the children’s section and Pat Bailey the
adult.
Pat received the glass engraved cup which had been given for the
prize-winners trophy many years ago by Libby Murdin. Libby is no
longer with us as she died a few weeks ago, she was in her mid nineties
and is sadly missed by those who knew her.
