| There has been a Baptist Church in Morton since 1846. the present Church moved to its present location in 1876. Our current Minister, Rev. David Hughes joined us in November 2003. During 2004 we have seen many changes and most obvious is the refurbishment of the main worship area which has received new windows, new carpet, new chairs and new paintwork as well as the seating arrangement being moved sideways which has given a much warmer friendlier feeling to the place. We sense that this is a 'New Day' for us, a fresh beginning in our worship and service to God and the community. We offer the full range of services including "Infant Dedication", "Adult Baptism", "Funerals", "Christian Marriage", listening opportunities and home visits. We will be increasing our range of activities to cater for all in the forthcoming future. |
