| Morton and Hanthorpe Street Fair
The
Street Fair 2011 was once again a huge success and packed with people
all day, with over 80 stalls set up in the High Street and other venues
mentioned below. Vintage cars and tractors were on display + Arts and Crafts
in the marquees.
Brenda Hammond and the 2000+ committee are to be thanked for organising such
a big event.
The Village Hall Committee
would like to thank all who served refreshments, manned the stalls etc. £255
profit was made for the Village Hall Funds.
The prize for guessing the number of buttons on a jacket was won by Flavia
Smith of Market Deeping. Heather Wyer must be thanked for her time spent
sewing on the 486 buttons and thus helping to raise +£40!!!!
Church Hall The stalls of cakes and produce + lovely
refreshments raised +£350 on the day. Thanks must go to all who worked so
hard on such a hot day.
We hope to see you all again in 2011
